So a little about
me...
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Washington in 1997.
I worked in the Department of Chemistry at the UW in the Scheidemann Lab for a couple of years building Mass Spectrometers
and getting my name on a couple of patents.
I left the UW and worked for Transparent Networks in Redmond, Wa, developing
all optical cross-point switches for fibre networks. (later renamed Transparent Optical, now dissolved and technology sold
off.)
I left Transparent Optical and went back to the University of Washington for graduate school, receiving a
Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2003.
I attended Seattle University School of Law and received
my Juris Doctorate May 13, 2006.
I have a wonderful partner and a gorgeous little dog that we rescued from a kill
shelter.
I live in near Seattle, just far enough to be peaceful at night but close enough that I can be in town
anytime I like.
I listen to all types of music except "New Country" (though I adore Appalachian mountain
music and bluegrass...)
I have a lovely sister who recently completed service in the U.S. Peace Corps in Morocco.
(You go sis!)
My parents are happily married since June 1971, though they like to joke that it was really 1972...I'm
not sure that's really funny.
I hope to become a happy patent attorney. I hope to raise a well adjusted set of
children. I hope to always meet the expectations of my future wife (though I rely on her forgiveness more than I care to
admit.)
